While originally being from Tacoma, Washington I have since lived in Florida, Washington D.C., and am currently located in New York. After obtaining my degree in Communications, I have since worked for various agencies with clients ranging from travel to fashion, to politics, to food, and even conservation.
My favorite hobby is wandering. I have been fortunate enough to wander internationally to Kenya, Brazil, China, Honduras, India, England, and Ireland while working with SEU Missions, Addy Award-winning SEU Magazine, WeAreSEU’s first-ever social media team, People Like Us Documentary, and Rotary International. While the motivations for each of these trips vary, the foundation always lied in gathering and telling someone’s story — whether that be through videos, photos, words or shared experiences.
My creative approach—no matter the medium—is to find points of connection between a seemingly unfamiliar story and the basic human instincts of empathy and action.
